It’s just around the corner: Valentine’s Day. And what do we associate with celebrating this popular holiday? Well, the first thing that comes to mind is usually roses. Usually red, a dozen, and de-thorned. Of course, the color and the number are up to you. But the thorns are pretty much a deal-breaker. Next, we think of chocolates, and then probably a romantic candlelit dinner for two. And at that dinner, there’s a good chance a maitre’d or sommelier will stop over to uncork and pour a bottle of their finest red.
Wine is for Lovers
After all, wine is for lovers. And there’s just something about a fine red. It’s rich, full body is like a passionate serenade for the palate, and it certainly helps to set the mood. That is, until that awful, fateful moment where it lands where it should not. All over your expensive new outfit bought just for the occasion. Now what do you do?
Act Quickly
The most important thing is to act quickly. This is one occasion where you do not want to wait. First, blot up as much of the liquid as possible with a clean white paper towel or cotton cloth. A colored cloth may bleed and cause greater staining. Also, be careful not to rub, as this can spread the stain and cause it to set. Next, for a dry clean only garment, don’t try anything else on your own. Again, you don’t want to run the risk of permanently setting the stain or damaging the garment. Be sure to drop it off the next day, and we will take it from there!
